Raul Castro de la Guardia is currently a Partner and co-head of the Estate Planning and Corporate Services Department of the firm.
Dr. Castro has over 20 years experience in business and corporate law, estate planning, company formation as well as tax advising, cross-border structures design and implementation and corporate and wealth planning and management.
His client portfolio includes renowned private companies, banking and financial entities, corporate practitioners and private clients from South America and Miami.
Dr. Castro is also a member of the managing team of MMG Trust (Panama), S.A., headquarters of the fiduciary services of the Morgan & Morgan Group in Panama.
In the public sector, Dr. Castro was selected by the Panamanian government to become part of the negotiating team for the Tax Treaty between Colombia and Panama.
Dr. Castro obtained a B.A in Financial Management from The Catholic University of the Americas in Washington D.C., U.S.A. (1993) and a J.D. at Universidad de Puerto Rico (1996).
